historicalslut: “Higher education cannot be a luxury reserved for the privileged few. It is an economic necessity.” -Obama. He is so fucking right. Romney can go fuck himself. And they say Obama is waging “class warfare”. I’d think intentionally keeping the poor (and even middle class with the cost of college now) in an uneducated state, therefore limiting many, many opportunities and keeping generations in inescapable poverty sounds more like “class warfare” to me. Not to mention the ramifications on the economy and social issues not only from the collapse of the higher education sector but also of a large, uneducated, poor population.
